Pasture Space Added for Horse Boarding and Trail Riding Near Birmingham
Updated: Oct 8
We’ve made some recent additions to the most enjoyable horse riding spot in central Alabama. Here at Shel-Clair, I’m always looking for interesting farming opportunities.
With more pasture space, we can accommodate 8 more horses. Total, we have at least 100 acres for the horses. There’s shade and water and new fencing. But, like everything at our farm, it’s a work in progress. The farm has a total of more than 1,000 acres.
In addition to the pasture, within the last year, we added some blueberries and already bringing in a harvest. We planted some fruit trees, such as apple, pear, and plum, but we won’t see any of that fruit this year. But we’ll have some orchard produce soon.
